BWAI is a Finnish financial services company, authorized and regulated by the Finnish Financial Services Authority to provide investment management and advisory services within the European Community.

BWAI also has a branch office in London, registered in England and Wales that is regulated by the UK FSA.

BWAI was founded in 2006 by Dr. Jaakko P. Kärki and Blue White Investments Ltd. as a joint venture. In June 2008 Dr. Jaakko P. Kärki acquired all shares held by Blue White Investments, thus becoming the controlling shareholder.

Whilst minimizing the investment drawdown risks, we take on board only diversified, measured and carefully calculated “good” risks that are then actively managed by a professional risk and investment manager. In addition, to ensure the most effective risk and compliance control, we have appointed an independent risk oversight and compliance officer who reports directly to the Executive Committee.
